Fresco

Fresco is a revolutionary platform that empowers home cooks to effortlessly manage their smart appliances and follow online recipes with ease.

I worked on laying the groundwork for a complete operating system for the kitchen. My responsibilities included defining the core experience, such as integrating new appliances and controlling them through the app, as well as developing step-by-step recipes. Additionally, I established a creative visual direction before leaving for paternity leave. The team has since then evolved the final designs - which differs from the one below.

Pitch

Pitch mission is to make the best product for presentation, focusing on collaboration, ease of use and beautification.

Alongside the Pitch team, I conceptualized the core user experience and visual layer of the product. Our approach was to create a de-cluttered user interface that gradually unveils features and options as needed. The result is an intuitive and visually appealing platform that people enjoy using daily to present their best work and ideas. This unique approach sets us apart from our competitors and has helped establish Pitch as the go-to solution for modern presentations.

The Athletic

The Athletic is a leading subscription-based sports news platform that aimed to expand its audience by introducing new features.

I revamped their app's architecture to accommodate new features, such as breaking news and developing stories. I played a crucial role in designing team hubs, which allow users to access their favorite team news, in-depth articles, and statistics. I also explored ways to keep fans informed about their favorite sports events, from the Olympics to world tournaments. These efforts helped The Athletic expand its audience and deliver unparalleled value to sports enthusiasts worldwide.

Instacart

Instacart, a leading grocery delivery and pick-up service, approached Metalab to help them revamp their app and explore new possibilities.

I led the ideation and exploration of multiple concepts and innovative features that could take Instacart to the next level. Our team investigated various areas, including designing a multi-store shopping experience that was seamless and intuitive, and eliminating the need for customers to repeatedly order the same groceries. Ultimately, we developed dozens of compelling features and concepts that we presented to Instacart for progressive release in the product.

Intel GCP

As part of Intel's ambitious efforts to reinvent its Graphic Control Panel (GCP), I collaborated with the Metalab team to develop fresh and innovative visual design routes for Intel’s product.

We explored various routes and ultimately selected a concept that exuded simplicity, openness, and uniqueness. Drawing inspiration from gaming industry conventions, we created a design that felt refreshingly different from existing tools while incorporating familiar elements that made it intuitive for users.

I'm a French designer living in the Alps with over a decade of experience crafting interfaces. I stumbled upon design by accident during my studies while creating a website for my partner's business (I have a Master in Corporate Finance 😨). Since then I’ve become a specialist in product design, interactions and visual design. I’m currently Creative Director at Metalab and have been refining my craft there for 7 years now.

I’ve been lucky enough to work for many different clients and industries, always animated by the same goal, creating unique, beautiful, memorable and highly usable interfaces that people love to use.

Additionally, I co-founded Deltaboard, a company that designs and manufactures products for climbing enthusiasts who want to train at home.  Our initial product, the first fully modular climbing hangboard, was successfully funded through a Kickstarter campaign in 2020. We've since launched a modular, self-supporting stand for any hangboard and continued improving our original hangboard.
